We deliver meticulously planned and personalised weddings for the couples that want something far from the ordinary. Our approach is simple and we work alongside couples and their families to create both personal and unique weddings that they will remember for years to come. So whether you plan to get married at one of London’s finest hotels or the picturesque countryside across the UK we’re here to make it happen.
Our services are tailor made to you and our offerings range across the spectrum. We can offer a full wedding planning service, where our team will embark on a journey with you to bring your visions to life and do all the work for you, or for the couples that want a trusted pair of hands to run their actual wedding day, we can offer on the day coordination.
Meet Mathini
Hello, I’m Mathini and I’m the founder and Head Planner at Events by Mathini. I’ve worked as an Event Planner since 2011 and during my career I have organised events for companies such as BT, Morrisons & Thames Water.
I’ve been to one too many weddings where the family of the couple manage the day and whilst they are running around trying to get everything sorted miss the all important ceremony and trust me that I have been there too.
I founded M’finity Events in 2017, shortly after planning my own wedding after noticing the lack of resources out there for couples from a South Indian & Sri Lankan background to help them in planning their wedding and I wanted to give them a one stop solution. As our brand has grown of the years, in 2023, I decided to rebrand the company to ‘Events by Mathini.’
During this time I have worked with leading suppliers from across the globe, including international celebrity makeup artist, Vithya Hair and Make Up, award winning Canadian photographer, Impressions by Annuj and reknowned singer Pragathi Guruprasad.
Across my career, I have also worked in some of the UK’s most prestigious venues, including The Savoy, The Langham and Hampton Court Palace.
In my spare time, you can often find me with my head buried in a book (likely to be Harry Potter), drinking my favourite tea and spending time with my kids.
